Computer Vision for Personalized Behavioural Profiles
We congratulate our long-standing CABMM member Dr. Dr. Henning Richter (Diagnostic Imaging Research Unit & VSF Stiegenhof) on receiving the “Clinic” Poster Award at the 7th Poster and Networking Day at the Vetsuisse Faculty Zurich. The aim of the event is to offer a networking platform and to promote scientific exchange between young scientists from different disciplines.
The award-winning project by Dr. Dr. Richter and his collaborators from the ETH Zurich aims to develop a computer vision system based on machine learning that objectively monitors the behaviour of dogs at an individual level. In this way, even complex phenotypes or subtle behavioural changes can be recognized quickly and in a personalized manner.
The project is funded by a refinement grant from the Swiss 3R Competence Centre (3RCC).
