Troutman Award for Dr. Sabine Kling
Dr. Sabine Kling was recently awarded USD 5000 by the American Academy of Ophthalmology. The Richard C. Troutman MD DSc (Hon) Troutman Prize recognizes the scientific merit of a young author publishing in the Journal of Refractive Surgery.
As postdoctoral researcher in the Ocular Cell Biology Group of the CABMM Research Platform, Sabine Kling investigates the relationship between corneal biomechanics and gene expression. She also develops models to optimize corneal cross-linking and refractive surgeries.
